Laurel Lester Fowler was my Grandfather. He was born in Kalida, Putnam County, Ohio. He married Della Sours (1 Apr 1908 - 21 Nov 1993) on 29 Aug 1925. Della was the daughter of Eliza Mongold (28 Apr 1880-2 Jul 1964) from Dovesville, VA. Jacob Sours (1881-6 Nov 1960) was her step-father. Laurel and Della lived in Tiffin, Seneca County, Ohio. They had five children: Charles Warren, Catherine Ruth, Agnes Marie, Lema Jean, and Robert Wayne. Catherine Ruth (12 Feb 1928-28 Aug 1990) was my mother. Laurel & Della were both employed at the Glass House in Tiffin, Ohio. Laurel's died at the young age of 45 from complications after having surgery. Della lived to the old age of 85 years. They were both laid to rest at the Fairmont Cemetery in Tiffin, Ohio.
